About the event

On 12 September we will have a PCRI video of Dr. Leach, a former Chief of the Department of Urology and Director of the Urodynamics Laboratory at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center, and a respected domestic and international leader within the local urology community. Dr. Leach is also registered in the text: “The Best Doctors in America.” He completed his medical training at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Leach is the past President of the Los Angeles Urologic Society and past President of the Urodynamic Society, whose members specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of incontinence. He has written many scientific articles and has contributed to several definitive textbooks on Incontinence and serves as a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society Advisory Board. Dr. Leach has written over 100 scientific articles related to Urology. A list of those publications can be found at the site www.towerincontinence.com.

We had a member last meeting complain that his incontinence was worse than the prostate cancer. This is a topic not often discussed by your treating physicians as they are not specialist in incontinence. Dr. Leach is, and will talk about BOTOX injections in the bladder, pacemakers for the bladder, the drug Myrabetriq, the male sling, the Artificial Sphincter, and the InterStim for the over active bladder, and the Bladder Function Test. Dr. Leach and his fellow urologist have a great website at towerurology.com. That link can also be found as the first item on our Resources Page on our website at https://www.prostatecancertoday.info.

Following his presentation we will have a Caring & Sharing session.

Note the meeting will be held in the big room at the Senior Center, which is about 11:30 on the clock, about 100 feet beyond the main entrance. Please remember to bring $2 cash, as the Loudoun County Senior Center has an entrance fee for non-senior center members.
